There are plenty of people who are sociopathic around you right now. What they usually lack is the power/opportunity to do harm. Under capitalism the crimes of capitalists are made normative and legal. All sociopaths are human, and depite what some may think, you can’t just punish/shoot your way out of a systemic problem.

They are as human as anyone else. We should be cognizant of that. They are human beings within a human system. Move beyond anger and hate, and ask what must be done to end suffering and injustice.

For all the quips about guillotines, the first fix needs to be removing their excess wealth, not their heads.

I think evil is an underlayment, not mere will to harm, but the force that moves towards destruction. The distinction of actual evil against some psudo-evil is false, a way that it hides itself. When we deny it it’s because we fear its nearness, as we should, because it is even within us, and good doesn’t always win.

Not even sure hateful bigots are the hardest to empathize with. Everyone has hated someone or felt disgust before. That’s sort of an ‘in’ to the mindset.

2 points: First, considering that the majority of Israelis support what’s happening in Gaza, I’d seek affirmative evidence that they are in the minority opposition. More importantly, unfortunately, is the fact that to the degree that they are successful and make money, their taxes and economic contributions will benefit a government and system that is actively engaging in a genocide of Palestinians, and in the best of time merely oppresses them.
