I’d just read the numbers off as one point two three megabytes since anyone who cares can reconstruct the number, anyone who doesn’t can stick to the first few sig figs.
For 257.62 GB I’d say “two hundred fifty seven point six two”. Yep. I put in the effort for the most significant of the digits, I dont bother beyond that.
8249.19 GB? About 8 terabytes. Doesnt really matter anymore.
You lost all credibility when you said
It is actually a popular segment of technology that has been growing and improving for decades.
Which you wasted no time before saying! VR is great and the idea the person your responding to is posing is stupid and misinformed.
VR has been tangibly growing / developing for a decade at best.
Saying it isnt worth up to a 25% reduction is a stupid argument in general.
Lets also not forget about all the money and resources spent on cars and their infrastructure.
Up to a 25% reduction in emissions at minimum is enough to be worthy of action.

I bet you are so brilliant, so smart, that you have successfully managed to point out a hole that dbrand’s lawyers have completely missed! I’m sure the investors totally had absolutely zero concerns about that and never mandated some form of investigation… I’m sure dbrand has taken no action at any point to verify that their business dealings do not go afowl of the law. Thank GOD for brilliant people like you, showing the companies the way.

Just sharing since I’m deploying my Fiber setup at home in a bit…

Probably should just pull names out of a hat, but I imagine they want it to be a secret for them as well and don’t want to rely on in-person presence for the assignment process.

You’ve clearly got some fucked up shit going on in your head that you need to work on. I see a lot of assumptions about reality that are absolutely off base in your horrendously delusional comment.
Fwiw its not their place really to get involved, but man did you go off the deep end.
deur@feddit.nlto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What secret do you know that could ruin someone else's life?14·2 years agoI dont think they’re saying they expect her to. They appear to just be describing what’s happening.
As to why, probably custody arrangements and anti-kidnapping laws and treaties.

i hate how popular it’s become to hate on AI amongst people who know little to nothing about it.
Id forgive it if it were clever or funny, but this is really just obviously salty ad hominem strawmanning by someone who doesn’t understand or appreciate the technology
The fucking irony of your own words is incredible. Oh my fucking god.
Oh man… to throw my towel in the ring as someone who knows about it: it’s fucking dumb, no it is not the future of everything. LLMs aren’t even “artifically intelligent” they’re just machine learning.

What kind of arrogant asshole diagnoses people with ADHD with absolutely zero context? You, I guess. What’s the point, their lives are fucked up by their own hand whether they have ADHD or not. ADHD doesn’t make someone have a bunch of kids (despite your claim, that’s not how it works). ADHD doesn’t make people have miserable “white trash” (per the commenter) lives. It only makes it harder to thrive.
Wireless charging is slow, inefficient, and straight up wastes power. It’s not that great.
