8·9 days agoYou need to look at the DNS server used by whatever client is resolving that name. If it’s going to an external recursive resolver instead of using your own internal DNS server then you could be leaking lookups to the wider internet.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•All my new code will be closed-source from now on - Marc J. SchmidtEnglish
72·10 days agoIt’s not an orthogonal issue when it is literally the subject of the article that this comment section is about.
The author of the original post is whining that open-core business models are dead because they have no conversion pipeline. Whether or not you agree with them, you can’t claim that money-making is not a relevant topic for discussion.

The next video is the second half of the talk which is about his participation in the Human Brain Project for which they built a supercomputer out of ARM CPUs, which is quite interesting so long as you’re not bored stiff with more discussion of AI.

I enjoyed the article but the thing that is most remarkable to me is that you have the courage to use 12 em-dashes and 2 bullet-point lists in an article in 2025.

The discussion itself is off-topic for this community anyway. Who would even think about using “serverless” for self-hosting?
Ah, docker compose makes it easy! Thanks.

Do you have an actual counter-argument, or just an ad-hominem?
