That’s something. I worked at Dell for a year a long time ago and I can safely say it was the worst job of my life. Hated everything about it. I was jealous of the grounds keepers id see out my windows. Only lasted about 9 months. However, I still think their computers are decent as far as the big computer manufacturers go. I’d buy one today if I needed to. Although looking into manufacturers like system 76 makes me think I’ll go that route for my next laptop.

Yeah Gmail is the hardest. Just for the sheer amount of logins. Been with it was an invite only beta in like 2005. I got a paid proton account but it’s hard to shake it because I’m constantly needing to log back in with it.

I made an account this week… first time since June 3rd. I used it for 5 mins. Saw ads in the comments I was typing a response to. Deleted the account. The few niche communities I want are just not worth it. Reddit is dead. That was the final test. It shall diminish and go into the west.

I’m flirty, thankful and sometimes say stuff I regret the next day (usually dumb jokes). Pretty good overall.

You did a good thing! alcohol can lower the shields for good or ill. Sometimes it can allow the facade we all carry about different aspects of our perceived selves to fall away and we can truly see what we need to do.

My poor wife if she gets too drunk just cries and cries. She has had such terrible loss in her family her entire life and when she drinks way too much she just sobs almost uncontrollably. It’s terrible. Because she remembers her brother, her dad, her grandpa, all gone tragically. She hasnt done that in a few years because we are getting older and drunk stupidly less but it was a thing for awhile.

Stremio and a debrid service is incredible. I feel like something has to go bad for debrid services soon. How they operate seems pretty unclear to me. Is it all in ram or something? I think that would pass the fixed ina tangible medium situation. Still have my audio service too. Because convenience is easier than the yo ho! Although spotube is pretty good! Just no podcasts or audiobooks.

Liftoff doesn’t work with beehaw right now but seems to work with other lemmy instances.

Yeah I’ll probably check out the other open source lemmy apps. Sync doing the ads is a no go for me. I do really like lemmy so not sure really what I’m looking for.

Good poll. I’ve been using liftoff. Tried jerboa, just didn’t feel right. Liftoff has been solid experience for me.

Works on wifi just fine. That’s what I do. I just have mine sitting in a random closet.

No content issues for me here. Lemmy has completely replaced reddit for me. Been here since early June. The content is getting better and better. The one thing I do want is a multi-community interface where I can have say all my “news” communities all show up on the same page. I’m a novice programmer but the API documentation doesn’t hold my hand enough for me to grasp it or I’d do it myself. Tbf I haven’t looked for a month or two.

I use connectbot too and it is sub optimal but works for me… I only use it in emergencies. If I had any sort of regular use id want something else so following.

I really got into steve1989s mre videos. So I collect vintage military rations.
