I pirate mostly out of convenience, I just want access to whatever media I’m interested in and if there’s a subscription wall between it and me, then more often than not it’s just easier for me to pirate it than bothering to pay for it
I admit I’ve gotten pretty lucky, but so far buying a house has been great for me

In Europe you basically have to be handicapped to not learn to drive manual.
That’s changing though, I see many people taking their driving lessons in EVs, which in turn means they’ll only be able to drive automatics. I guess that won’t bother them too much as they’ll probably only want to drive EVs anyway, or else they would’ve chosen to take their lessons in a regular manual like most people
but, nobody gets into simracing and photography thinking they are cheap hobbies, do they? I mean, sure you can get a start with a low budget but everybody knows the really nice toys are $$$
I honestly don’t remember because I was too young. However I do remember growing up on all the classics like Keen, Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, Rise of the Triad, Test Drive (1 or 2? definitely 2), Street Rod 2. The list goes on

google added things that only they knew about, which broke the other XMPP apps, driving people to install google talk instead. Sure, eventually people figured their shenanigans out and their apps started working again but the damage was done. Repeat that a few times so that most people were using google talk, then flip the switch and everything that’s not google talk was basically a ghost town. People don’t stick around in ghost towns
