Nothing has really changed unless you just didn’t run the latest software on your phone. The series 8 was the first watch in a long time that needed a newer phone. But they’ve always required the latest iOS.

Good news! They’ve been spying on you for well over 20 years at this point.
Basically every phone made in the last 5 years will charge at over 5v for “quick charging”.
The USB is typically only up to 3 amps max at any voltage less than 20.
They don’t even need to win the case. They just need to bully the smaller person until they go bankrupt and shut down.
That doesn’t stop the media industry.
Oh god oh fuck.
We all knew that AI doesn’t know how to do human hands. But now we know that AI can’t do cow udders either. That shit is horrifying.
I like how one dude is maybe a foot into the water, and the other would be on dry land.
BIG BROTHER IS IN WE
Does he view “clicky” as separate from tactile?
And just because a laptop has a trackpad doesn’t mean people don’t use them with their laptops. Our office is 90% Macbook pro and of those users only 10% use a trackpad (the external bluetooth one at that, not even the built in one)
As of 2024, Apple sells just one computer with a mouse included
Apple sells 0 mice with 90% of their computers, the iMac is the only model that comes with any external peripherals besides a charger. The Mac mini has always been a “bring your own keyboard and mouse” type device, and the Mac Pro/Studio are for people who probably already have a keyboard and mouse.
Don’t like it? Pay for your software :)
Most people happily will. So the year of the Linux desktop will always be n+1
I mean I guess they could but it would have to really reinforced
Multi-edit is huge. It’s literally THE reason why I use sublime text from time to time.
I frequently copy text from NP++ to sublime. do a multi edit, then copy it back over multiple times a day.
That’s kind of the crux of a lot of these things. The instructions make it look really simple to install, but if you’ve never done this before then I could understand it being confusing. There was this teeny tiny line in the middle of some pictures that says someone will help you set them up I think.
More notably, Radio Free Fedi has been incredibly proactive, offering a free service to help Fedi musicians host their own Faircamp sites on RadioFreeFedi’s infrastructure.
It looks like you just ask them for help and send them some of your songs and they’ll handle the setup.
I’d probably suggest having a dedicated machine. You don’t need anything fancy, I’d imagine any old laptop should do.
It’s essentially software to convert your machine into a basic web server, so if the laptop disconnects now nobody can download your stuff. And I assume you don’t keep your laptop on 24/7
Yes.
That’s mostly what I used my pro 7 for, but even that it struggled with. With nothing else running doing RDP I get 2-3 hours of battery life which is just awful. And if I try to do widi or just about anything at all on the screen I get closer to an hour of battery life until the throttling sets in and it’s unusable. Thank god the pro 8 added a fan for all models.
Hows battery life on the go 4? I have a surface pro 7 which is neither fast, nor gets good battery life so it’s pretty useless to me.
A pro 9 with the P cores turned off or go 4 would actually be a pretty neat device for me.

Onstar has existed since 1996. Cars have been doing this for a long time and it’s not new.
