Yeah, I think that’s dumb but debates aren’t inherently required for elections.

It’s why we have primaries. People’s inability to understand the importance of primaries simultaneously means they don’t vote in them and hate the results. (On average)

I found it to be exactly the opposite. Everyone in DC is doing interesting things. There is a lot of passion and hard work as well. They mostly shy away from direct politics in a town that is incredibly political by its very nature. I’ve been helped on the street more by average people than I ever was around Atlanta, New Orleans, or the spaces between.

In a society with capitalism at its core, externalities exist. That’s a fact that everyone agrees with. Nonprofits help mitigate those gaps. Calling all nonprofits scams is misguided at best. I think OP is looking for something more specific. What nonprofits?

Like literally anything else in the office, ask the question and respect people’s limits. It can add to a workplace culture but not enough to overcome making someone uncomfortable. My dog is hypoallergenic so it occasionally gets special visitation privileges.

If the ownership of the means of production is still held privately, it is still capitalism. That’s the base definition. I’m sorry but you just don’t understand basic definitions.

Sure but it does not change the system from a capitalist one so it is still capitalism regulated by market forces.

Regulation is still capitalism. People in the western left and right seem to have forgotten this. The means of production are owned by private individuals. That’s just laws. It’s an equal playing field. Government programs are where it starts to get muddied.
