2·3 months agoNot to scare you, but if they last more than a couple days you should reach out to a doctor. I have a family member who had this happen, had horrid hiccups for 4 days straight and it tore open a part that required surgery. It’s been so long now I can’t remember exactly how it happened since I was fairly young at the time, but do take care of yourself <3 hope they clear up soon

How has no one mentioned medical coder? It’s an admin job that prefers a medical background. You can get a full degree or just get certified. Your job may even pay for training depending on the facility.

Being myself, knowing myself without the dull edge of substances, actually being present in my life and in other’s lives. Drugs were an escape, a place to hide and avoid. Facing reality, while difficult, was such a more fulfilling experience than when constantly running from my own existence.

Just needed a friend to care enough to say something so simple, and it changed my life. Sobriety is terrifying for so many, but in my experience it was absolutely worth it.
I was on a ship in the middle of the ocean, it was calm with no waves, but the ship was sinking. Just slowly sinking into the black water and there was nothing that could be done to stop it. I woke up when the water was to my chest and I saw a massive shadow moving under the surface.
Only when I start screaming or crying from nightmares…
