Thunder has been my go-to. Not sure I could specify why beyond the fact that it just works
Thunder has been my go-to. Not sure I could specify why beyond the fact that it just works
What do you like about it? Do you get stage fright?
80% is my burst capacity unless you’re gonna pay more than 4x my cost of living. 60% is my normal pace these days
President makes 400,000 a year for a min of 4 years (1,600,000) and a max of 8 years (3,200,000) so I’d probably ask for 5,000,000 a year for them to call the shots and an extra 1,000,000 for anything I don’t think will get me reelected.
4 years of 5mil nets me 20mil and 8 nets me 40mil. I stash that away in a moderate dividend spread and I’ll be just fine for the overwhelming majority of my life.
For some it helps them fall asleep. I had a friend in HS who would drink a monster before bed. I have a friend who currently only has coffee after 5pm to make sure they don’t fall asleep earlier. It’s anecdotal for sure but it works for them
The software industry would stall out, mass unemployment, dramatically more car crashes. Coffee, black and green tea, most soda, and some drugs would disappear from shelves and stores. Coffee shops would all close, you’d be able to get pretty much just water with your big Mac, midol takers would be furious and in pain, ADHD people would have to try harder to fall asleep. For lack of a better term, there would be a rubber band effect apocalypse while the shadow markets got set up and supplies
It’s easier said than done for sure
For a lot of open source at the moment the root level readme is fundamentally the homepage too. It absolutely should include screenshots, maybe even a gif. If your software has a GUI or TUI it should follow that a concise visual will do more to explain it’s usage than a text document
And this is the single most important piece
You’re thinking in terms of political ideology a radical progressive is someone taking out all the stops to fix things. It’s a bell curve not a checkbox saying what alignment you are
Yes you’re right about our current conservative population but the problem is still that they have too much power to limit progressives from taking actions to fix things or try solutions at best
As a species we need a mix of progressive and conservative people. Progressives act as a sort of antennae force finding new ways to approach the world while conservatives are there for if we progress in a way that is ultimately harmful. Finding the right balance and control system is the hard part, not fitting everyone into a progressive or conservative ideology
You must not have ever seen a couple of folks making min wage renting a room just to survive. America may not be quite at that disparity level but it is rapidly approaching
Theres no way this wasn’t a chatgpt response
If I say “I am a chatbot” you might believe me. If I say “I’m not a chatbot” you might not believe me.
So I’m possibly a chatbot
In the US it’s usually 2 part time jobs or 1 ft and 1 or or 1 ft and gigs. Regardless the idea isn’t that they make enough with one job and get spending money from the other. It’s basically that you need to make as much as the top 15% of earners in the US to be ok in most areas. So we work as hard as we can to survive
It is actually! The idea is you can join servers with certain levels of curation. For example if lemmy.world decided tomorrow it didn’t like blahaj.zone it could defederate them. That’s not the point of blahaj.zone but think of it like having multiple reddit accounts with different subscriptions each account is like a superpowered multireddit on it. You choose the subreddits that go in the multireddit but not that the account it’s on subscribes to
I can understand why you’d be concerned about lemmy falling victim to dead internet theory but I can assure you that we are all totally real and definitely not super advanced AI trying to steal your personal data.
