I accidentally bypassed the paywall by clicking one of the links to a different article (the “Go fuck yourself, Bambu” link to GN) and then clicking the back button. When I landed back on the Verge article, the “subscribe to the verge to continue reading” message was gone and I had the full article text.

Only worked once tho, I just tried to do it again and I still get the “subscribe” message now.

I would vote for .slash just so we can get slashdot.slash.

The Nokia 2626 was no 3310 or 5110, but I bet you could still beat a man to death with it and then call your lady to tell her you’ll be a bit late to dinner. Whoever tore that down for the metals is gonna be kicking themselves pretty hard when the apocalypse comes.

It’s crazy how much it evolved in just a hundred years. Even crazier that it’s still evolving at all after being extinct for 100 million years.
