I think part of the problem is that people see the same grammatical mistakes repeatedly and think it’s normal; especially since it seems most of the written content people consume is written by the average person and not edited (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram etc). So they honestly don’t know what’s proper or not.
For example, I’ve seen multiple YouTube shorts in which people pluralized words by adding " 's" to them. Someone I met recently thought the same too.
Not sure if there’s a solution since grammar and spelling aren’t things people care about. Can’t force people to have better written content if their viewers don’t care or know any better.
One gift I’ve been giving out that’s pretty popular is an automatic foam soap dispenser. It’s a nice little quality of life improvement and since you add water to the soap to make it foamy, soap lasts a lot longer too.
There are a bunch on Amazon. I would find one that you like the look of and make sure it charges with USB C.
Sorry, should have been clearer. The chia pet was inside too. Well, at least the pot was. I didn’t really want to stick my hand in to see if the seeds were there too; on account of the dead lizard
Bob Ross head chia pet. I really wanted it so I opened the box to make sure the pot was inside. Found a dead lizard instead. Store employee had to properly dispose of the whole thing.
Portal 2 has a very fun co-op story mode. In fact, I’d recommend the solo story mode for both Portal 1 and 2 as well. One of my favorite video game stories ever.
I haven’t played them myself but I believe both It Takes Two and A Way Out were designed to be played in co-op only so both their stories should be good.
I think the Keychron V6 Max might be right up your alley.
It meets all of your requirements (100% layout, back light, quiet depending on your switches).
It’s also hotswapable so very beginner friendly when you’re trying to find switches you like. Here’s a sound test of all 3 switch options for the Keychron V6. There’s not a huge difference to me but I’m also just on mobile right now. With your budget you can also choose to try other switches too. You can use the stock switches as a starting point to see what type of switch best fits your needs. For example, note the force used to actuate (activate) the switch. If it feels too light, find a switch that has a higher force. Videos can help to identify which sound nice but keep in mind that the keyboard will also impact the sound.
Lastly the V6 can be used via Bluetooth or wireless USB for a cleaner look. I didn’t see gaming as a requirement so the lower latency over wireless connection should be fine.
There are other Keychron keyboards too if you want other options. The Q6 is very similar but is entirely made of metal, thus increasing the cost to $205 for a fully assembled board. Hippyo has an informative video on building and modding a custom keyboard using the Keychron Q6 as a base model.
Reminds me of this exchange between Leslie and Ann from Parks and Rec.
About 5 months ago I ordered this clock and it is still working fine now. It’s definitely cheaper than the listed price (it’s just cardboard and the clock motor) but it’s absolutely silent and it makes me smile every time I see it.
I also bought a lot of cute clothes for my dog for under like $5 each outfit so that’s really nice.
The sourdough ranch bacon cheeseburger from Carl’s Jr was my go to burger back in the early 2000s. They brought back another sourdough sandwich a few years ago and it was also good but unfortunately that’s also discontinued.
The sourdough from Jack in the Box is close but with the lack of lettuce and onions feels a little dry.
(“The Story of the Wild Huntsman”) is the only story not primarily focused on children. In it, a hare steals a hunter’s musket and eyeglasses and begins to hunt the hunter. In the ensuing chaos, the hare’s child is burned by hot coffee and the hunter jumps into a well.
lol wut?
The Iris Rev 8 might be just what you’re looking for. In any case, I think the term you’re looking for is “hotswapable” since you want DIY without soldering.
Personally, I have the Ergodox EZ and I love it. It almost meets all of your requirements but I think it’s more than 40%.
Small squeezable bottle for my mouthwash. It’s a lot lighter to lift up and takes up way less space on my sink. The one I have is fairly large for a travel bottle (about 7 in tall by 2 in wide) so I only have to refill it every 1-2 weeks.
Another item I like a lot is my garlic press. It’s great for adding a strong garlic flavor to sauces without adding any crunchy texture. The garlic dissolves into the sauce (for the most part). It’s also super good for garlic bread too. If you’re getting one, I highly recommend a metal one since I’ve heard the plastic ones don’t last long. I have the Kuhn Rikon brand because I figured it was a “buy it for life” item but there are other cheaper steel presses too.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen the film, but I’d say both.
Rooney just wanted proof that Ferris was skipping school, which he was. He went about it the wrong way by entering the Bueller household but he was basically just trying to do his job. He definitely gets obsessive about it but he’s not in the wrong.
Jeanie is pretty self explanatory. She also just wants Ferris to suffer the consequences of his actions.
I think this movie never sat well with me because Ferris obviously does so many wrong and criminal things but is actually rewarded for it. Sure, you should take the time to enjoy life but not at the expense of others.
Ferris Beuler’s Day Off
You could say it would be out of this world.
I love the pranks from Just for Laughs because the prankee always ends up laughing after finding out it’s a prank. Here’s a compilation of some Halloween ones they’ve done.
Of course, some of these are not practical for you but hopefully they’ll give you an idea of a fun prank.
Portal was my first FPS on a computer. Got me to practice using mouse and keyboard and now I can’t imagine playing an FPS with a controller

I swap between my speakers, headphones and IEMs. Good way to keep your ears from feeling too hot (from headphones) or fatigued (from IEMs). For most listening I use speakers but if there are other people around, I’ll use my headphones since they’re more comfortable and sound better than my IEMs.
