Je me souviens d’avoir été sur reddit quand il a démarré. C’était une grande chose pour reddit d’être mentionné dans un article de presse parce que c’était un petit site de forum à l’époque.
Maintenant, la plupart des résultats de Google sont des fils de discussion reddit.
Lemmy et/ou le fédiverse vont être énormes. Un nouvel Internet est en train de naître. Cela prendra peut-être une décennie, mais c’est en train de se produire.
I use libre at home and MS at work, and hands down Libreoffice is terrible in comparison. It’s UI is harsh and doesn’t do 10% of what microsoft can do. As sad as that is to say.
Back in the early 2000s Open Office was actually better than MS for a brief period, but Libre isn’t really on the same level anymore.
why should everyone own a Raspberry Pi?
I mean Lemmy is pretty neat, I consider it a contender for the next “big” thing (and I’m fine if it never gets a huge userbase like reddit, certainly fine by me)
I mean I was a mod of a couple 50000+ subs and I said fuck em’… I’m sure a few other decent people/mods did too.
