How many parts of ASML are actually done outside Asia? I don’t know honestly but as we manufacture most electronics and tools there, the only option to hide technology from China for US is working exclusively with Taiwan (Korea and Japan maybe but expensive) to make those.

First research is globally shared and second, China has always found ways to get information they need from companies, either because they just give it to them or because US accept people that will give information back to China.

It’s Fking FPGAs, empty lookup tables, they don’t know what to put in there, and we train ML on GPUs… Also China knows how to make those, they also can do their own CPUs and GPUs, they don’t need US for that.

I think there’s still issues with memory and they might be preparing for full Vulkan support and it still need to drop in the next Mesa driver.

They didn’t bother to write a proper abstraction for data blocks, they require you to write and read code like notes, and they don’t plan on making any proper data visualization other than the fancy and useless graph.
