Hier mit einer kleinen Instanz, einfach um Spaß zu haben, nette Leute kennen zu lernen und sich auszutauschen.
Mich fasziniert Gaming, Anime und Selfhosting und noch jede Menge Blödsinn 😋

An option to set a cache limit would be nice. Caching is okay, as long as you can clear the cache. Something like Mastodon caching. You can prune all remote media via tootctl
Turning completly off will increase the traffic of all other instances -> longer loading times 🤔
Libretranslate is FOSS and you can even selfhost it.
Then there is Translate you, it uses multiple engines 🐱
He canceled the PR for personal reasons. I don’t know why it is not enabled by default. Most people will use prebuilt images 🤔
Openboard got a new release from another dev
Please share, maybe someone can help 🌞
😳😳😳
It disappered
Magic…
Okay I try again 😺
{version-number}
Liftoffuser here 😊
Open the offgrid Community on slrpnk.net Copy the !offgrid@slrpnk.net string into the search function of your instance and wait a little bit. Now your instance gets the Community. Click an it and you can join ☺️
Glad that it helped you to get it running 😊
I use Liftoff and I don’t find it buggy. You need to be aware that most clients are under heavy development 🤔
Good luck 🌞
We are here to help :)
I use my own docker-compose.yml. I made modifications, but it is very easy to use. Replace YOUR.URL.HERE with your URL for searx and enter a path for the configuration mounting. Now start the stack and wait a few seconds, while the config files are generated. Now stop the stack and remove the # in the two lines 30 & 31 (CAP DROP / ALL) in the docker-compose.yml for security reasons.
Make your changes to the configuration files now (backup recommended), before you start the stack again. Start trhe stack and try it out 😊
My docker-compose.yml is on my Cryptpad. You can make a copy, but the link won´t be valid forever.
Yes once configurated it is very good ☺️
I use a selfhosted searxng. There are many public instances too. Take a look at GitHub
Same here ☺️
Did not know that, but it makes sense 🤔
Used Clementine before and switched to strawberry because it is an active project. Changing was easy, they are very similar 🌞
A new Subdomain is like a whole new instance. I would not move over old posts or something else.
Start completly fresh and have fun instead of headaches because of broken Posts 🌞
You can try your setup with another subdomain. This way you will see If there are any problems
And never lose your database. It is the heart of your instance, so do proper backups ☝🏻
