6 months agoWe need a new “law”, like Betteridge’s Law, that says if an article talks about something making a comeback, then that thing is absolutely not making a comeback.
See also “landlines are making a comeback”, “teens are going back to flip phones”, or “teens are using paper maps”.
It’s all bullshit clickbait with zero basis in reality.

ISBNs or STFU.
“Rare” means absolutely nothing without context. This is trash reporting, you sent the books, you know what they are, by not publishing the titles/ISBN it proves you know you don’t have a valid case. I’m betting these were mostly/all used books.
The pearl clutching about this is absurd. So what if they buy 1 of every book to scan?
