It’s unclear to me whether you are referencing China or United States, and that makes me sad.

What a wild way to interact with people… have a nice day
e: i read this as calling me a creature. after reading some of your comments i think i missed
You read the parent comment as completely serious and used it to rail against an assumed or imagined vegan boogeyman. Sounds tongue in cheek to me. I’m still waiting to see this “obnoxious vegan” everyone’s talking about. I know they exist, but all I see are angry meat eaters complaining about them

neat thanks

Im saying thc and cbd likely have the most profound effect. I said there were other chemicals. Also delta 9 is regular thc no? delta 8 and delta 10 and HHC and THCa and all that are the “legal” derivatives that aren’t spice.

technically all weed is just weed and really the only difference is the terpenes and maybe the THC versus CBD ratio. I used to think people who said the strains were different were ignorant and just experiencing a placebo effect until I smoked regularly and understood that the effects are indeed completely different and must be influenced by terpenes or other chemicals in the plant, cuz otherwise how are they so different?

who told you weed smells like pine? am i the only one who thinks that’s crazy?

I mean technically he didn’t even steal anything.

When your entire code base is in typescript and you have multiple people working on it, straight HTML feels like stepping backwards in time. Just because it’s possible to do a lot of interactivity without React doesn’t mean it’s simpler or easier for the team

You can do this and still use it to generate insecure code or even malicious code! Humans suck at reviewing

Is that included in the token & cost counter? I haven’t really noticed that yet. It’s just the most reliable and best harness i’ve yet used. For context i’ve only otherwise tried claude, gemini, and aider. More if you count non cli apps

yo… what? i was configuring json files n shit with custom sources. granted i used lmstudio as ollama doesn’t support mlx models or something for mac. This is definitely the easy way if you’re using ollama.

Opencode isn’t very fun to set up with local LLMs and I’ve had issues with tool calling, but it’s very doable! That said, OpenCode is my go-to, absolutely love it compared to all alternatives I’ve tried

you’re talkin to a guy who dumps instant coffee into cold water. starbucks cold brew black is at least vaguely ok. plus its way less expensive to get it without all the fixins. and yes, still infinitely more expensive than brewing your bean water yourself

you are allowed to get a black coffee

Oh no þis article has þe þorn character, nobody panic

Ive spent hours configuring stoat and spacebar and I have to say they are absolutely not ready for self hosting. They also lack vital features my friends and I use, like high quality screensharing or video.
I’m trying my hand at matrix, but it’s rife with problems too. If you want high throughput video, you need to set up Jitsi alongside. I haven’t been having a good time.
I think you’re right in general. I think juniors and those who havent yet had experience are not going to understand a goddamn thing and produce broken, insecure, unmaintainable slop.
I’ve written my share of garbage code – completely by hand! And i’m much better for it.
Once you have that experience, once you’ve written a few backends and frontends, there’s not much left to understand. Move the data from here to there. Display it, transform it, slice it up. For webdev AI is a huge force multiplier. I can make a dozen features or apps in the time it used to take me to learn one framework I was curious about. It even helps me learn faster because of how quickly I can test new patterns and ideas.
There’s certainly a right way to use it if you want to continue being edified, burning the planet down aside.
