I wrote guidelines for my small business. Then I uploaded the file to chatgpt and asked it to review it.
It made legitimately good suggestions and rewrote the documents using better sounding English.
Because of chatgpt I will be introducing more wellness and development programs.
Additionally, I need med images for my website. So instead of using stock photos, I was able to use midjourney to generate a whole bunch of images in the same style that fit the theme of my business. It looks much better.
Over 3 different computers, I have never not had some bug on windows after a clean install.
Stuff like, text inputs not working on sticky notes, screenshots not working, now I’m having driver issues where some windows flicker black rapidly. I need to do another fresh install to fix it.
I can’t even think of a single bug I’ve had using Linux. If it were not for a single piece of software not working on Linux by any means, I’d be using that.
The only games I’ve not had work on Linux straight away are games with anti-cheat, so I understand windows gamers using windows to play them, but otherwise Linux gaming has been basically flawless.
I had this problem recently. I’m not in the US. I bought something from H&M online and I got an email from UPS that I would need to pay duties on it.
I was a little surprised as I loaded the countries version of the site and they have tons of stores locally.
It sucks and I felt a little scammed to be honest.
Maybe just tell your mom that since she had changed her password, there is a 30 minutes delay before she can login.
Maybe if there are consequences things will change?
I see what you are saying, but the “art” I’ve created with AI would never have been done by a graphic designer as it would be too costly.
I would have instead used whatever I could find in Canva. So, graphic designers are not losing out from me, but it lets me elevate my work.
Either way, someone is getting paid to create something.
Is it really that different from me hiring a graphic designer and asking them to create art for me in a specific style. Even more so if I hiring someone from a country with low wages?
I have no problem with it. I’ve been using it to make images for my website that I would otherwise not be able to afford to pay a graphic designer to make.
I also use it to help me figure out wording to get the right tone to my message. I’ll read a few iterations and then work off of the one that I like best. The AI one is not always better, but it’s great to get quick alternatives for comparison.
I can hear to say coffee, but AC is at the top. I live in a tropical country.
Chocolate is nice, and I love it but I could drop it.
Probably? 🧐
I just did a little work, my wife is setting the table for dinner and then we will drink and watch movies together.
I’ve been looking forward to it all week.
I can see valve pulling out once steamos/ linux has become a major OS. That’s kind of their goal it seems.
Same! I love the steamdeck and think it’s almost perfect. So I’ll just wait for the next one to upgrade. I’d probably just upgrade to show support for the project.
But firstly, I’m happy to see Linux growing.
Yeah, like programs to subsidize the low wages of Walmart workers.
I’m all for supporting people who need it, but if our taxes are going towards food stamps to save Walmart money, then Walmart is just taking my money.
