I’ve heard regular walks to replace getting outside and taking a break helps
If psychedelics have taught me anything it’s that experiences tend to come in waves
as a general rule I avoid eating hair, from dogs or otherwise. Thanks tho
Yeah I think in a lot of ways they are
they weren’t upset that I was thinking critically, but they’re not happy I left the church. In their mind thinking critically points to the church. And I can be pretty argumentative when I disagree with someone and think they’re pretty straightforwardly wrong, hence arguing about santa as a kid and religion with them 😂
But i’m definitely glad they did too
That’s what my parents did too. Backfired on them when I left religion years later lmao
They thought it was funny/cute when I tried to argue with other kids about it, but aren’t so happy when I argue about religion with them now 😆
Quite frankly I don’t know, hopefully someone else can chime in with more info? If I had to guess maybe something to do with security, but idk with certainty
edit after a quick search, from somone who claimed to be a dev in the comments here: “Apps don’t need to be open-source, split APKs are fully supported, metadata verification is more robust, (unattended) unprivileged updates are supported in the official client, and (in my opinion - you may read the docs for yourself) Accrescent has more strict quality control requirements.”
Not yet, all the more reason to talk about it and help it gain traction with the devs of the apps I use
Iirc don’t torrent or seed over tor, tor is too slow for p2p stuff (tails runs all it’s traffic through tor)
Realistically it probably doesn’t matter much. You could probably become one of those legendary posters where there’s always a twist at the end (e.g. the guy whose dad is always beating him with jumper cables) if you enjoy it but feel bad deceiving people, or put in your account bio that you like to make up stories.
Why would 3rd party #2 even try if they just saw 3rd party #1 just get stomped in that way? Why would you start a business, a very expensive endeavour (monetarily, mentally, and temporally), if you knew how and why it would get driven out of business pretty quickly? In the scenario you describe, the pressure is for prices to be higher on average, with dips here and there.
Just chiming in to say that if organizations price fix, it’s pretty rare a 3rd party can sustainably undercut them. The price fixers can agree to drop prices way lower, sell at a loss until the 3rd party is forced to price fix too or go out of business, and then resume the fixed price
To be fair though, some ethical views do have a high ground to others. People against murder have the high ground over people ok with it for example. People against dog fighting or any other form of animal abuse have the high ground over people ok with it.
Any time there’s a victim being harmed, people ok with the injustice have lost the high ground
blue lizard sunscreen sticks are my favorite. They’re really lightweight so great for hiking, vegan/not tested on animals, reef safe, they last a long time, since it’s a stick you can’t get goop anywhere accidentally, and they don’t make my skin feel gross at all like most sunscreen does for me. I’ve never felt any burn in my eyes when sweating. They’re kinda expensive but imo worth it
Sure, except i don’t have time to be a proper mod (and that includes due diligence in vetting new mods) so it’s easiest to just let the old reddit mods have it. I haven’t started any communities but i definitely understand why people would want the reddit mods to retake control of a given community, and if i do start one i’d put that in the description as well
