OP, it’s your life and relationships. Of course people on the internet will tell you to pull the trigger on the nuclear option, because they don’t experience any of the fallout of you making a hardline decision.
I’m not saying go to the wedding. I’m just saying consider how it might affect your relationship with him and the rest of your immediate family and decide if that’s going to be a better situation overall, before acting.

My Dad’s a carpenter and growing up this essentially describes our backyard. So much timber that gets left over at the end of the job that he’d grab for a carton of beer. So much of it soaked and white-ant ridden.

Yes. Everything is pointless and nothing is forever. Might as well enjoy the life we’ve got. Non-existence is better for some people, but I think on the whole life is worth living for most people.

I suppose I’m not 100% on Nihilism in that sense.
I still value life of course, but the climate change existential dread which I feel pretty constantly is alleviated when I tell myself its only complete societal collapse/mass extinction event, rather than total destruction of life on the earth.
Nihilism and the fact that it’s highly unlikely that humans will destroy the ability for earth to sustain life, just make our society collapse.

The heating effect is more due to standing waves rotating the (polar) water molecules in the food.
There aren’t hot radiation particles moving into and staying in the food like a number of people believe.
Microwaves (and 5G) have much less energy than visible light, but its a scary sound word. People don’t like to think that they are exposed to radiation 100% of the time.
That’s a fair call and I’m the same, its not optimal for a lot reheating. I’ve met a fair few people who refuse to own or use a microwave because the don’t want their food “irradiated” or think that it is somehow unhealthy.
Microwaving food. Too many people think that it’s radiating the food. Its just making the water molecules in the food wiggle and heat up to warm the food through internal collisions.
They have 2 or 3 songs that I consider to be fantastic, but a lot of generic stuff. Photograph is their worst song and was so overplayed when it came out.
Their buns aren’t good IMO. They look great, but are tiny and rubbery. If forced to get Maccas, I’d probably also go a quarter pounder though.
Oh yeah they’ve got that market cornered for sure. I’ve got an 18 month old, so all that to look forward to.
McDonalds. It’s the shittiest fast food place and maybe the most unjustifiably expensive.
Get a trade and make bank. University educated skillsets aren’t as in demand as tradespeople, and I believe that is going to be more true over time.
I think 40 - 60 makes more sense. 30 would be the age that someone would be too early in their career to rule a country. If that person has risen to a position that they would be considered for president by 30, the chance of them getting to that position without significant nepotism is too low.
