What happens when every server is proxying images?

I love the outfit the guy in blue has.

This sounds great, if the streaming to the headset is lossless. And the streaming isn’t a huge drain on the battery. (High bandwidth super low latency streaming is usually a strain on batteries).

All of the high quality wireless adapters for things like the Vive and Index have gotten hot, too.

If it’s just h.265 streaming… fuck that. Dark scenes always look like shit.

Personally, I prefer my online open world sessions to be total unplayable nonsense.

lol, anti-cheat isn’t just about esports, or high level play. It’s not even just about cheating.

It’s broadly about harassment and griefing and just shitty behavior mediated by hacking in online games.

Just wanted to say I share your complicated thoughts on this. It’s not as simple as “Rah! Rah! Piracy!” No one is entitled to another person’s work. But things get nuanced and messy fast once you move beyond that narrow contextualization.
