Yeah i think it’s an education thing as well. People tend not to understand how stuff works and if they did they would be much more „paranoid“

There were some early-ish mobile games were like really good. Infinity blade, Modern combat 2, The tintin game (to the ~2015 movie) and Rainbow six Are some that come to mind. Key point they were not drowning in ads and had actual single player stuff while mc2 and r6 even had local multiplayer via Bluetooth.
