They also linked another guide that looks promising but is 3 years old, has a lot of steps and lots of comments saying it still doesn’t work. Will try it out later today though.

Obviously I didn’t find an answer, otherwise I wouldn’t be asking here. I also checked the devs discord and reddit.
Could you link the answer you found please?

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Whats the best way to clean up 15 years of stuff around the house?
1·23 days agoI didn’t claim to be a full blown hoarder, I said I used to be somewhat of a hoarder. OP also said they didn’t have that extreme of a problem with hoarding either so thought it could still be worth sharing what helped me.

5·23 days agoI used to be somewhat of a hoarder and I found it helpful to ask myself things like “When have I used this past few years?” or “Would I even remember this thing if I got rid of it?” etc.
If you have stuff you never really look at or use and maybe never even think about until you find it again then why keep it?

Thanks, this looks good. I like that it creates separate save files as well so no risk of contaminating the vanilla save files.
Randomizer mod needs .NET runtime though and not sure how to run it with this. Didn’t see anything in the instructions about something like that unless I missed something. Not used to doing these kind of set ups on Linux because honestly I haven’t needed to do anything like this yet.
