The reason I did it like this is because:

• I didn’t know yay could invoke pacman
• I didn’t want yay “upgrading” my pacman packages with AUR packages.

But I was just misunderstanding yay. As another comment said before you, one can just run yay without any arguments and it accomplishes the same thing.

I just aliased “sudo pacman -Syu && yay -Syu --aur” to “update” cause I got tired of writing it every day.

I’ll say I also use the app URLCheck to open urls, and my phone uses MIUI OS, in case that’s relevant.

Edit: okay I think it might not be jerboa’s fault, rather a weird interaction with URLcheck when opening links that aren’t handled directly by jerboa.

I think it creates a different instance of the jerboa app or something, resetting it. But I have to do more testing.

I have it happen a lot when I’m doom scrolling, pretty far down, and open a post (but I don’t know if opening a post triggers it or I just notice it more).

I then go back, scroll a bit more, and find the same post I just saw and the ones around it too.

This game’s so good. I haven’t been into RTS since AoE2/AoM back in the day, but BAR had me playing a bunch of games against the AI.

Just the scale, the amount of units you can have at once is impressive. And the game is pretty “simple” (no research trees, no complicated economies) so you can focus on the combat. Really nice experience overall.
