Just wanted to comment on the laptop chiclet part: i am a mechanical switch/keyboard enjoyer through and through, but i honestly don’t hate laptop chiclet keyboards (especially in comparison to bog standard dell membranes). And i think i might have peaked in wpm on a laptop keyboard 😂 i always thought this was weird

Off topic but i’m curious: what car(s) are you driving/tracking in? I eventually plan on converting my current car into a more track-oriented build

I haven’t personally tried them, but maybe pilotis? Bonus is that some of their shoes look casual enough to wear out and about

Yeah, it definitely seems like a more concerted effort to not bottom out super hard on linears, but, if you can manage it, hell yeah. As others have said tactiles give you some physical feedback to tell you when you’ve actuated the switch. If you continue to have issues and really want to stick with linears, perhaps a silent linear would alleviate the fatigue/pain. The bottom is dampened with some kind of rubber or silicone so it doesn’t feel as harsh when you bottom out

Huh, reminds me of myself except the unapologetic part (maybe i’ll change over to that someday). I do feel like the selfish/stubborn part of me is insurmountable and incompatible with the types of relationships i envision for myself. Nothing else to contribute, just here to share my thoughts and/or commiserate

Cool to hear your findings! I remember really wanting zilents way back before bobas existed, but not buying them because they’re so expensive. Interesting to hear that you like the bobas more. Guess i’m not missing out on the zilents (anymore at least lol)
