My daughter cheers Go Go Go! When they do that action song during an episode, and part of me wants a parody that just continues that repetition without ever ending until the credits fade to black.

I’m also not too worried about my daughter becoming right wing. She can already tell how uncomfortable I am around cops, lol (but she mostly just loves firefighters and construction workers).

Like every other episode involves some train crash or other perfectly avoidable catastrophe. Granted, that’s maybe their nepo mayors fault (her grandpa was mayor back in the day) but they’re still very complicit.

I was never much of a social media guy, especially after moonlighting one summer as a social media marketer on Twitter and Instagram (really, really kills it for ya), but I was a redditor for a while.

I swapped over to Lemmy exclusively during the API fees, but to be fair I was already getting frustrated by the service. The karma farming was just too much, so many stupid reposts of the same stupid made up wholesome stories and crap. I think I only miss r/comics and r/idiotsincars, the later requiring a critical mass of people to actually be worthwhile.

I’m probably an agent of chaos because I’ve blocked nothing, no one, nada. Don’t get me wrong, I abhor some of the bad takes I’ve seen, and I certainly have had to hide furry porn from family before I think that got defed’d, but I kind of like the weird chaos of c/All.

But then again, the worst of it isn’t on LemmyWorld, I know what Hexbear and Lemmygrad look like and I’m not sure I could stay triple zero on bans.

I also can’t figure out spoiler tags, but yup, and during certain spoiler-tag worthy moments you also are missing someone or two, and Roxas eats alone. It’s kind of an interesting structure, especially for a game that was meant to be played with friends and especially for folks going through a confusing time in their life like a middle schooler.

But also you get to play as literally everyone, including their unique weapons. Ever see Donald glide? It’s truly a sight.

I saw the original comment and honestly, if your only exposure was the HD cutscenes, it’s like… 95% eating ice cream scenes. It paces a lot better when you’re actually, you know, fighting shit. Lol

I just beat Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and they said it was long and tedious but I really enjoyed it. It’s a lot darker than the other games and had the potential to be my second favorite after 2 had they remade it (and maybe favorite if they kept multiplayer and revamped it to allow it in story mode). Just watching the “HD” cutscenes reminded me just how much of a missed opportunity that was.

The better answers in these comments already explain the main reason the answer is no, but I want to add how impractical it is given the purple reality of most communities.

In my townhome community, there are about 33-33-33 split between Harris, Trump, and unvoting across 17 units (most unvoting being green cards like my wife). If Trump straight up announced a civil war, would my neighbor go to war with me? Extremely unlikely, especially since one of the Trumpsters adore my kids and would probably shut down anyone trying shit.

I think most modern day civil wars are military coops, and that just isn’t happening here. You might see some militia and unrest, maybe another Jan 6, but that’s not the same as a real civil war.

I’ve always had a preference for Balma, it’s unfortunate she becomes less and less important as time goes on and the characters outgrow the need for tech. She’s a genius inventor, though!

Granted, I’ve always had a preference for female characters, which isn’t exactly DBs strong suit, lol. Now that I think of it, whatever happened to Launch, that lady with the two personalities? Did she just… disappear in DBZ?

When I think “AI will end humanity” I was thinking a sort of Skynet type deal, not… this. Sigh.

In LA, my situation was mostly playing video games at friends’ homes after school. I’ve taken buses since I was in middle school, though, and had a key to my home. That said, my dad is and was an abusive alcoholic, so I generally stayed out as long as possible.

Mind you, how unsafe the city is isn’t really true in many neighborhoods, especially if you’re with other teens. You can always hang out at various locations like malls, parks, the beach, library or at school. You have a lot of options in the city, especially if you’re willing to take a bus or bike places. I had friends who volunteered for Heal the Bay, for instance.
