Yea I’m the same. planning on making some VMS/docker nodes, Highly available while others can be kicked to the kerb if there are issues.

I have three docker nodes on three Debean VMs on three proxmox servers. I should play around with lxcs and native containers on proxmox but it would mess up with my tri lateral system.

Opensource for audit/review or so you can selfhost?

Probibly not sustanable if you need to stop bots, vote manipulation, Astroturfing and cyber attacks. You can mitagate this as many websites do but an election site(as weak as an online petition may be) I would say is esspesuly sensitive. Also if you take on the responsibility of gathering signitorys data to verify the legitimacy of the vote. I know it’s not a solution but I would say self hosting would not be wise.

I don’t trust my self with this kind of responsibility.
