You would ban bob’s post from being shown on your instance’s copy of the federated community.
This happened recently, where a prolific user on !noncredibledefence was instance banned on blahaj.zone. if you visited !noncredibledefence@shit.just.works from blahaj.zone, none of his posts would be shown, but they were otherwise visible on other instances. I suspect in the case you’re talking about, it would only apply to the community on question and bob’s posts in other communities would be unaffected.

It seems your assessment is correct. You’d be surprised at the speeds you can get on poor wifi when you don’t care about latency. The average speed marching up with your download is a dead giveaway too. The fact that maximum over 5 minutes exceeds it is a bit weird, but it could be explained by some networking equipment in the middle (probably at your ISP if I was to guess) terminating MTUs for whatever reason. A common one is misconfiguring various solutions for capping internet speeds to subscribers, where your local MTU will be set correctly but the outgoing ones will be set to the maximum speed of the link.
It’s a misnomer. It’s actually a slur filter
Also consider that Roquefort-sur-Soulzon, of cheese fame, has 528 inhabitants.
That’s constructive dismissal
Si tu y réfléchis bien, même en anglais tu pourrais dire “they will know about the baby’s sex”, même si c’est un peu maladroit.
This resizing is done by pictrs at runtime, when you request the image. Unless the external image host also uses pictrs, you can’t do this with any other host, no.
Completely agree. Also, fuck the artificial scarcity culture in mk. Why are DSA drifters a collector item, they’re pretty but there’s nothing that says only 500 of them must exist.
Apart from the mouse thing (which I’m skeptical about), cloudflare also correlates your traffic with other sites hosted on cloudflare. Bots typically don’t visit many sites, click around there, find another one, etc, whereas humans will have visited other sites, will be slower at clicking the button, will have left comments on some sites.
I get mine from AliExpress. They’re by no means good, but I refuse to spend more than 30€ on plastic. I also get my board from there, there are some good deals on subpart boards that are actually quite serviceable.
This is a very standard AliExpress keycap set, it should be on the first page of results for “DSA keycap set”
It’s quite lucid. The new thing uses a fraction of compute compared to the old thing for the same results, so Nvidia cards for example are going to be in way less demand. That being said Nvidia stock was way too high surfing on the AI hype for the last like 2 years, and despite it plunging it’s not even back to normal.
