Ngl, it’s a bit disheartening to see how many men think catcalling just…doesn’t exist.

And I’m allowed my opinion that no matter the intent, catcalling is harassment.

It doesn’t MATTER if the guy thinks the woman is hot. He put his own wants ahead of her comfort and safety.

We shouldn’t be encouraging catcalling ffs

Genuine compliments should though.

Please don’t conflate catcalling with approaching people respectfully to open the door to dating. They’re very, very different situations.

Ew no. It’s demeaning and humiliating.

Everywhere. It happens everywhere.

It’s very easy to miss what women go through on a regular basis when you’re a man tbh.

Whistles and calling out sexual things usually. Comments on a woman’s body, what they’d like to do to her, etc.

No one is asking for dates while they’re catcalling.

Or perhaps it’s because you aren’t the target for catcalling?

Men absolutely still cat call.

The companies are the ones who paid the tariffs directly and then passed the cost onto their customers.

Women are simply objects in those situations. Something to be ogled at as they walk by. Men don’t care what those women think of them, they’re signaling to each other that they find that woman attractive.

I’m an older millennial and I go through phases a few months at a time - content with listening to old favorites and ravenous for new music.

Usually the genres are the same though. Punk, riot grrrl, grime, alternative hip hop, indie. Searching for new artists within those genres usually yields satisfying results for my tastes.
