I have a GPD WIN 2. Very bad quality overall. It just died after 2 years I think. It won’t even turn on when plugged. On top of that, that tiny keyboard is no better than the deck’s.

It’s all bulshit until we see reputable benchmarks. But I hope it happens. I’m balls deep into FOSS to not drool about the idea.
The lack of touchpads renders the desktop mode almost useless unless you add external peripherals.
These devices are big like a tablet and heavier than a tablet. To type on a tablet, you need to put it down on a table. Same here.
The Steam Deck touchpads allow you to type while you hold it.
I run bazzite on my desktop PC, it’s freaking amazing, I love it.
Meh is an overstatement.
I used it 2 days ago. Recorded around 15 min. Worked like a charm.
If I had to guess, blocking is cheaper than supporting since you just do it once.
I doubt it, but I hope it happens.
I actually come from Arch (Arch, Endeavour, Cachy, Crystal, BlendOS). It’s good for learning, but after the baptism of fire, I just wanted my PC to work for me and not the other way around. Bazzite freaking rocks.
Recently switched to team red on Bazzite. So happy. Everything just works.
Well, looks like I’m keeping my subscription.
I’ve tried them all. He’s right. It’s the best. It’s very reliable.
I don’t understand the downvotes. Mozilla’s new CEO is questionable at best. He’s been stuffing ad-related nonsense into Firefox since he assumed.
Holy shit, Maxima is coming to Heroic ! Nice!
Can it add mods to steam as a non-steam game?
Yeah, install the distro, done. No more thinking about anything. The distro does it all for you.
Bro, I distro hopped between 10 different distros. Bazzite is the best, hands down. If you game and do non-dev work on it, it’s the best thing ever. It just gets out of the way. It’s very hard to brick your install. It freaking rocks.
I’ve been on Bazzite for half a year, and I’m moving my secondary PC to Bazzite tomorrow.
I didn’t know about Quadlet. Looks cool.
I wish it had split screen and controller support.
