I have a few; my main site gives details about me, has a page dedicated to hating shitty companies and practices, and links to my clan’s website. Has a bunch of subdomains but it’s essentially “tell me about yourself” in webpage form.
I stopped in 2007 and haven’t looked back, and advise friends and family to do the same. This is just more ammo for the “but why” rebuttal speech, and baby, “wanting your cpu to not die” is an awfully juicy bullet.

Yeah, I was like ‘uh, no’. I had to reinstall FH3 well over a dozen times because their updates would break shit and there was no file integrity check system. The store is garbage, no doubt, but let’s keep it to facts yeah.

I was going to write a long series of events that grew in oddity and hilariousness until we all died a gruesome death, but that’s a lot of effort, so I’ll just put this here.
Off-topic but may I ask what is your disability? I am disabled as well after suffering a stroke that I wasn’t supposed to live through, and am passively looking for others like me to game with (I mean anybody is cool but it’d be nice to have others that are in similar situations, for support and stuff). I play racing / shooters / strategy games one-handed, partially blind, with some cognitive struggles.

I was very interested in buying one; the details looked OK, and it wasn’t a use-once product like those flimsy blue face masks. This was early on when no end was in sight so it seemed like a decent move, and was at least interesting visually.
I ended up not buying one since they took forever from announcement to actual public sale, and I’d talked myself out of it.

This wasn’t even a customized machine though - it was off the (Amazon) shelf, just really high-end for the time. Afaik they didn’t offer any variants with more ram or storage. Just Intel or amd, with nVidia or amd. You got more storage with the Intel version, and the second slot as NVMe, but that was it.
The asus was likely a better built machine, but as being one-or-the-other, specs trumped niceties.
