An acoustic guitar is always a good answer to this kind of question. Don’t fuss to much with theory, start by learning a few basic chords and strumming along to the radio or whatever music you listen too. Tip: rhythm is more important than the notes in music, so don’t get hung up about mistakes.

I’m British with a French wife living in Germany. Can we agree on standard sizes for a bed, pillows and duvets? Nothing, and I mean nothing, is interchangeable when moving between countries.

They compare with France, specifically Notre Dame. If I recall correctly, the fire that destroyed much of the building happened due to lax procedures during repair work on the roof. That could likely have been prevented with… you guessed it, better regulation. The same kind of regulations that slow down German projects.

I’m a brit living in Germany, and I am so used to cold UK houses that I keep my flat at 17C… suspiciously close to the 16.6 UK average! My German flat is much, much more comfortable than my UK one, on so many levels. I just don’t understand why Brits keep accepting such crappy, tiny builds.
