He was quite explicit about his goals, which were to make ordinary Americans aware of the US’ role in the Middle East and to oppose it, leading to a change in US foreign policy. Claiming that what he wanted was to weaken the US 25 years in the future with no evidence is not really something I’m going to entertain seriously.
I think your reading to much into my remarks. Im not writing a disertation on 911 im expressing my feelings around 911. Ill admit my use of language likely caused this especially on the internet over us hanging in a basement as its hard to do the back and forth. Basically I feel he would be pleased at the result.

911 will never mean more to me than how osama bin laden won by getting us to gut a massive amount of our civil rights.
