Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio (feat. L.V.)

It was originally written for a movie called Dangerous Minds. I’m not an expert on Hip Hop, but I’d say it has definitely made it’s place among the best in the genre.

Also, it’s heavily by Stevie Wonder’s Pastime Paradise.

Id say Lose Yourself by Eminem. Maybe because I was too young to watch the movie when it came out, but that song was everywhere, and is still popular today

The way I look at it, K-Pop Demon Hunters is a musical.

Which means the songs aren’t bigger than the movie.

Because the songs ARE the movie :)

“Come with me” - Puff Daddy (P Diddy) from Godzilla (1998)

The song peaked at No 2 on the UK charts.

The movie was a colossal failure and got 20% on rotten tomatoes.

    Ironically both feature monsters.

Armageddon was a pretty big summer flick at the time but Aerosmith and John Denver were still more famous I think

can’t help falling in love, elvis. from blue hawaii (1961).

heard at weddings around the world for decades. in the present day it is the most-streamed elvis song. soundtrack and single both charted for weeks (the soundtrack for a year-and-a-half, 20 weeks at number one).

      incredibly loud incorrect buzzer

That movie is perfect and is a genuine art piece. Nothing before or since has been able to capture that same vibe.

Would? by Alice in Chains was from the Singles soundtrack. The song was great, it was included as the last song on the album Dirt that came out shortly after the movie.

    Gabriel’s Oboe from The Mission.

The movie was incredible but I feel like that tune has really stood the test of time.
