Translation on this one: People who cause hurt are less likely to remember than those it affected.
“Valo lisää valoa”
Roughly translates to “light brings more light”.
Equally fundamental to my being as “hymy tarttuu”, which is the corny cousin with narrower scope. “Smile is contagious” translated roughly.
I prefer:
Niinkuin tikku paskassa
Or the equally sage:
Niinkuin pieru Saharassa
