For me definitely The world ends with you. It completely shaped my modern taste in funk, pop, rap and hip hop. That and Jet set radio.

FFX back in the PS2 day’s was when I discovered I really love heavy metal.

    Quite a few for me:

    • OneShot: The melancholic music blends with the atmosphere of the game and its really good.
    • OxenFree: On its own, it’s good. But when playing the game, it really helps sell the ambience. Also, first soundtrack I’ve ever listened to that had encoded messages in it.
    • Celeste: Really helps represent Madeline’s emotions and mental state.
    • A Hat in Time: Some of the orchestras in the soundtrack are really good, almost rivaling Nintendo. Some of them are a vibe too.

This is besides the point, but I think you should play Night in the Woods. (the OST isn’t the main attraction but if you liked Oneshot, Oxenfree and Celest, i really think you’d like it.)

A game with an amazing, non-original soundtrack is Life is Strange but a lot of people don’t really like that game’s story that much, so i’d recommend NITW first.
