These people were not influencers, just people with strong held beliefs. They weren’t filming anything or pushing social media. Recording posters is actually against that conference’s policy

They probably do. Crazy bastards.

I’m sure they saved so much on payroll compared to the billions it cost Ford.
Like others have said talk to a gyno. You should not be in pain. They will be able to help you sort out what’s going so you can enjoy intimacy.

Probably wandered here from Reddit. The cat groups there are wild.

Unfortunately there are no magic solutions. Corpses will keep happening if the cat is allowed outside. Be glad you’re not my childhood friend, her cat would deposit corpses on their pillows 😱.

I wish I had a good answer. Unfortunately it’s on social media because people believe what they want to a lot of times. I was at a geology conference this one time presenting a poster and was approached by a seemingly nice gentleman. After hearing my spiel he starts lecturing me about how none of this is possible because the Earth is only 6 000 years old. A little bit later I actually got to meet a flat earther in person! The fact that those two people not only hold those beliefs but felt the need to go spread the word at a geology conference is quite confusing to me. When you compound the effects of social media algorithms a lot of people don’t stand a chance.

Thanks for the offer but I’m good for now. I find that web searches get me where I need to go. I find scientific papers easily that way.

That is pretty funny that after your thorough and extensive comparison the result is blocking. Thanks for taking the time to do that though. I’m new and recently transitioned from Reddit. It definitely feels very different here but I didn’t know how to describe it. The end really is much less hostility in general. I feel like there are more constructive conversations happening despite occasional breakdowns.

The pandering is really unnerving when you’re not used to it. I’ve used chatGPT only once and it was to edit my resume since I hate doing that. It helped with consistency and wanted active verbs in there which was fine. It was the constant compliments at the top of every response that was so weird. Like I’m asking for feedback, not to hear how wonderful of a writing job I already did. I felt like I was being handled like an oversensitive child.

No one went feral. You’re overreacting.

That’s a good way of putting it. It was such a hostile reaction to an innocent parental question like holy Batman.

I’m sure that made her feel much better. Leaking is awkward enough on its own. My husband has also received comments for being progressive at the grocery store because he was buying tampons lol. Hopefully it keeps being normalized. Basically half of humanity experiences it.

I agree with you. There are enough real trans issues out there without picking fights at innocent questions asked in good faith that are completely unrelated. Nowhere was there anything exclusionary in that post. If you look for negativity everywhere you’ll find it but you won’t make any friends and you probably won’t help your cause.

Your first version was funnier for sure xD Your daughter is lucky to have a supportive dad. Thanks for caring.

Bahaha you win ;) As a bleeder, I respect OP for asking for advice in supporting his daughter. A lot of men are weird about it. Only conversation I had with my dad about it was him yelling at me when I accidentally leaked on the mattress as a teenager.

It’s not designed to exclude anyone and certainly not in mean spirit. I think you would be hard pressed to find many trans people who would find this verbiage offensive. It’s literally a parent asking a group how to support their daughter. Why pick fights when none is happening?

Stick some water bottles in the freezer. It’s a great way to cool off your core temperature.
Pretty much. People can be weird.
