Austria will charge people who get themselves into danger in the mountains recklessly for their rescue. And that’s right. Mountain rescue is dangerous. Those idiots don’t only endanger themselves, but also those who have to rescue them.

Even a new EU membership won’t come with all the exemptions and special privileges the old one had. Protest won’t do it, that’s not hitting them where it hurts most, right in the wallet. They’ll happily ignore protests, and the mostly complicit media will downplay them.

It needs boycotts (ideally in the traditional sense, completely excluding the actors being boycotted from all aspects of life) and strikes to actually achieve anything.
