Apparently they got him in France when he was part of the (Spanish?) Republican forces. Interesting. Important reminder that the Nazis didn’t just murder Jews, they also murdered a lot of political activists, POWs, LGBT+ people, disabled, Roma and so on.

Hu, the"Stolperstein" art/remembrance project is very well known in Germany, but somehow I hadn’t expected it to spread outside our borders as well.
