Apparently they got him in France when he was part of the (Spanish?) Republican forces. Interesting. Important reminder that the Nazis didn’t just murder Jews, they also murdered a lot of political activists, POWs, LGBT+ people, disabled, Roma and so on.

I hate that so many people in Germany and the US see and know this, and yet think that we need more of it. Propaganda works …
