Not a fan of the new look. If you’re in the same boat, plug:
about:config
into your URL bar, and search for:
browser.nova.enabled
Toggle it to false using the button to the right.
There are functional changes that Nova also introduced: this won’t effect those - only the aesthetic.
sigh…pills. one of the worst trends in UI design within the past couple years. pills, borders for everything, purple, jetbrainsmono. and Firefox decided “pills is the way to go!”. It’s what i’ve started calling “The Claude Look”.
I really hate the pills look.
We’re just going to alternate between making UIs more round and less round for all eternity.
Meh.
I’m old. I miss the way Mozilla Suite and Netscape looked. The more of these “modern” trends that pass by the more they all look the same to me.
Thankfully Thunderbird is less affected by bullshit like this. As long as I can view my daily feed through RSS in table view, I’m happy.
It’s not so bad. Since everything is pill-shaped I more often remember to take my medication. :3
