Hey folks, I have several accounts across the fediverse (Lemmy, pixelfed, mastodon, bookwyrm), and I think it would be neat to have a single identity across all these platforms.
I’m an amateur self hoster, and was looking into Rebased, a fork of Pleroma. If I were to create a single user instance on rebased, what would I be missing over these accounts on all these services? Could I still use the different apps? (Blorp, Pachli, Rocinante). Would I be missing features?
I had the same idea but I fear having accounts on each instance is still a better idea. Because whenever your primary (acting as the identity provider) server is down, you can’t login to other instances as well albeit your previous session might continue to work. And on fediverse, outages are more common. So….
